Seth King
Naturopathic Medicine
Seth is a board-certified Holistic Health Practitioner through the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP), and is currently on track to attain his Doctorate in Natural Medicine through Quantum University. He earned his bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Grand Valley State University in 2020, originally with the goal of pursuing dental school. Around that time, his life took a meaningful turn when Seth’s dad was diagnosed with Erdheim-Chester Disease, a rare form of blood cancer that ultimately led to kidney failure and heart issues. The hardships surrounding his dad’s diagnosis profoundly shifted his perspective on health and healing. Being so close exposed him to the limitations of symptom-based care and highlighted the importance of an integrative approach, taking stress management, exercise, and nutrition into account. Toward the end of his collegiate journey at GVSU, Seth realized his place wasn’t in dentistry, but in nutrition and improving health through a root-cause, systems-based approach. Outside of holistic health, Seth’s free time is occupied with ski instructing at Boyne Mountain, weekend ski trips to Mount Bohemia, and during the summertime- trail hiking and golf.
